Location

Conception Abbey and Conception Seminary College are located in northwest Missouri, not far from the Nebraska and Iowa lines, at approximately the center of a triangle formed by Kansas City (100 miles), Des Moines (135 miles), and Omaha (145 miles). Routes I-29 and I-35 pass about 40 miles to the west and east, respectively. U.S. highways 71, 169, and 136 are the connecting routes passing closer by.

From Kansas City, Missouri (90 miles), take I-29 north to U.S. 71 North towards Maryville to Route M. Turn east (right) on Route M, continuing about 7 miles to Route AH. Turn north (left) on Route AH, continuing about 7 miles to Route VV. Turn east (right) on Route VV to the Abbey entrance.

From Omaha, Nebraska (120 miles), take I-29 south to U.S. 136 East through Maryville, Missouri. Go past Conception Junction to Route VV at Conception. Turn south (right) on Route VV to the Abbey entrance.

Alternate route: take I-29 south to Hamburg, then 333 east Hamburg to 59, then J-64 to Braddyville. Go south on 71 to Maryville and continue as above.

From Des Moines, Iowa (125 miles), take I-35 south to U.S. 136 West (right) at Bethany, Missouri. Continue on U.S. 136 to Route VV at Conception. Turn south (left) to the Abbey entrance.
