2007 Fall Encounter: November 10-12 2008 Spring Encounter: April 12-14 Priesthood. Is it your vocation?The seminarians of Conception Seminary College invite you to Encounter With God’s Call, a weekend opportunity to spend time with men your own age who, like you, are seeking God’s will in their lives. You will be immersed in the daily life of a seminary. They will share with you their hopes, joys and fears. Conception Seminary College is a community built on daily Eucharist, prayer and service, with the goal of helping each seminarian discover the unique vocation God has given him. Many seminarians confirm their vocation to the priesthood, while others choose another path. However, each shares the vocation of seminarian. If the thought of spending this time with Conception seminarians is appealing, then perhaps God is calling them to guide you in your search. This free visit to Conception can be a good start. You probably have more to share than you may know. Conception Seminary College can assist you in making the wonderful discovery of what you have to offer the world and the Church. If it is impossible for you to come for an Encounter, you are always welcome to visit at any time that is convenient. Please contact the Director of Admissions and Recruitment and he will arrange for a visit. Do I have vocation?Pope John Paul II says we are all called to holiness. The ideal way to achieve it is to live out the unique vocation God gives each of us. Personal growth, opportunities to serve others and a sense of peace only God can give are milestones along the way. You will travel this path in your own way. Now is the time to find that way. How can I discover my vocation?By spending time in prayer and truly opening yourself to God’s will - those deepest desires that He has placed in your heart - you will find true joy and freedom. God has given you talents that will fulfill His will and bring about the kingdom. It is through prayer and service that these gifts are revealed and perfected.
