Abbey
Center |
Conception Seminary College and Conception Abbey have together earned a
reputation as a spiritual center to religious and lay Catholics, as well
as non-Catholics, throughout the four-state region of Missouri, Iowa,
Kansas and Nebraska. The abbey’s Basilica of the Immaculate Conception
was designated a pilgrimage center for the Jubilee Year 2000, and the
Abbey Center for Prayer and Ministry draws hundreds of guests and
retreatants each year. In conjunction with the Abbey Center, the college
provides facilities and resources for conferences, retreats and numerous
cultural activities such as plays, concerts, recitals and lectures.
