Conception seminarians enjoy NCYC

Just before taking off for Thanksgiving break, all of the students of Conception Seminary College had the opportunity to attend NCYC, the National Catholic Youth Conference in Kansas City. All of the students reported having a wonderful time and a very moving experience as well. Seminarians served as volunteers organizing lines for confession, staffed vocations booths and monitored the convention center. The seminarians also had the unique opportunity to assist during the liturgies. The 22,000 youth in attendence served as a great witness of the young Church to the seminarians.

Eric Martin of the Diocese of Jefferson City compiled a video titled, "NCYC 2009 from a Seminarian's Perspective." Which can be found on this page.

John Rockwell and Geoff Brooke, also of the Diocese of Jefferson City, wrote reflections which can be viewed here and here respectively.
