On Halloween night, the entire student body of Conception Seminary College along with monks gathered together to celebrate and have some fun. The party was planned and hosted by the junior class. There was terrific food including turkey legs and the junior class also made a short film entitled "The Holy Dead" which featured the entire class in a zombie-style movie. The theme of the night was 'movies' and many students came dressed as popular movie characters.

The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is the heartbeat of Conception Abbey. The monks gather here 6 times a day for prayer and Mass. Renovated in 1999, it contains one of the world's best collections of Beuronese art, exemplified in the murals that adorn its walls. The murals were painted by Benedictine monks trained at Beuron in the late 19th century. |
