Companion Camp 2010

It was an action-packed and high energy weekend for the 68 campers who attended the 13th annual Companion Camp.  Campers formed eight different teams led by monks and seminarians and competed in a variety of activities including dodgeball, fishing, water-balloon toss, an obstacle course, ping-pong, checkers, and much more.  In addition to the campers, 15 high school students (most of whom were campers themselves in previous years) offered their assistance to ensure the weekend's success.  The camp focus is "Faith, Fun, Fellowship."  The camp ran from Friday afternoon until Sunday lunch.  This year's camp directors were Br. Paul and Novice Eric.

Companion Camp Welcomes 40 Campers

June 12-14, 2009-  It was an activity filled weekend for the forty campers that came to Conception Seminary College's 12th Annual Companion Camp. Joining them were fifteen high school students who were a part of the camp staff and seven seminarians who returned to serve as team leaders.  Some of the activities included dodgeball, water-balloon toss, three-legged race, an obstacle course and many other competitions and recreational events.  They campers seemed to enjoy themselves through the activities and grow in a deeper understanding of their Catholic faith through the Eucharistic Adoration and recitation of the Rosary and different talks by the seminarians.  It was a very successful and enjoyable weekend.
