Conception To Host Fall Production
Conception Seminary College will present Murder on the Monkey Express by Angie Settlemire with underscoring music by Jonathan Swain as its annual fall theater production this year. The production is scheduled for November 7-9, 2025.

You’ll go bananas for Murder on the Monkey Express, a zany, delightful show that’s more comedy than mystery, filled with a variety of fun, outrageous characters. We’re not monkeying around here! This is a highly stylized, playful production that’s unlike anything you’ve seen before! Join vacationer Herbie Hampton as he recounts the incredible story of his fateful journey on a train, a cruise ship, and a plane before finally landing himself in the interrogation room of a top-secret international organization. Everywhere he goes madness ensues… and murder! Monkey murder, that is! It’s no wonder Herbie’s the prime suspect. Take a ride on the” Monkey Express” to follow the clues and find out who is behind all of these primate poisonings and unlock the secrets of Herbie’s forgotten past along the way.
Production dates are Friday, November 7, and Saturday, November 8, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, November 9, at 2:30 p.m. in St. Michael Hall Gymnasium on the Conception Seminary College campus in Conception, Missouri.
Admission is $10.00 with children 12 and under free. No reservations are needed. Pay at the door. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The production is under the direction of Br.
