Favorite Sacred Scripture passage?

Luke 15:5 – “And upon finding it, he sets it on his shoulder with great joy.”

What did you learn most while at CSC?

I am a public person. Being an adult doesn’t mean that you can’t have a child like heart. Growing is painful, but always worth it.

Words of wisdom?

No matter how hard the journey is, always persevere and push on. The end is well worth the challenge. Also, don’t hesitate to ask for help. It takes courage to admit that we can’t go it alone.

What ways have you grown as a result of the formation at CSC?

I’ve grown in maturity, in being a public person, and how to be a social person. I have built friendships that will never die, and have learned the meaning of what being a man is.

Current reading?

A Priest is Not His Own by Fulton J Sheen, and St Faustina’s Diary

Patron Saints?

St. Faustina, St. John-Marie Vianney, St. Nicholas, Our Lady of Guadalupe

Any words to offer about those that helped in your formation at CSC?

They have always pushed me to be the best man I can be, even when I didn’t see it.

Favorite spiritual reading?

St Faustina’s Diary, because it is the story of a young girl and God’s mercy. It is applicable in my everyday life.

Greatest impact on your decision to enter seminary? Why?

My former Bishop, Bishop James Johnston, and Fr. Joseph Kelly. They always told me that if I feel the call or possibility, then there is no better place to learn God’s will, and to become the best man you can, then in the seminary.

Favorite hour of the Divine Office?

Night prayer, because it sums up your entire day. Your struggles and fears and failures, along with your strengths. it is all given to god and you are thankful for the day. Also because it ends with a Marian hymn.
